Spoken Word Club Meetings

Spoken Word Club Meetings offer you time and a space to write and build your poetry writing and performance skills. We accomplish this using writing prompts, example poems, team building activities and group and individual feedback.

We meet meet once a week in the Main Building in room B127 on Thursdays from 2:45 - 4:00 pm. All NV students are welcome to join us.

Why join Spoken Word Club?

Spoken Word Club provides a space for students who enjoy poetry to collaborate, write, share, speak, and listen to poetry and offers a platform for students to practice and present their own written and spoken poetry.

Members of Spoken Word Club will also be eligible to audition for Neuqua Valley High School's Louder Than A Bomb Team. This team consists of 10 Spoken Word Poets who will represent Neuqua Valley High School by competing in the annual Louder Than A Bomb Festival/Competition in Chicago during the months of February and March.​
